Vaughn Iverson
Vaughn is a lead software architect and engineering manager within Intel Architecture
Labs. He is currently leading the research and development of digital content management
and distribution technologies. Vaughn has been a contributor to the MPEG-21 Multimedia
Framework effort from its inception. During his 8 years at Intel, he has led efforts
to
develop a wide variety of digital media technology, including software products for
the
capture, compression, and distribution of digital video. Vaughn has been granted 13
U.S.
patents and he received a M.S. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the
University of Washington in 1993. In his free time he enjoys SCUBA diving, underwater
photography, snow skiing, backpacking and brewing (and occasionally drinking) beer.
