Bert Bos

Bert has a degree in Mathematics from the University of Groningen, The Netherlands (1987), and a Ph.D. from the Faculty of Arts of that same university, on a thesis about a rapid-prototyping language for Graphical User Interfaces (1993). Afterwards, he lead a project called PROSA, aimed at helping scholars in the Humanities make better use of the Internet and the World-Wide Web in particular. He joined W3C in France in October 1995, as coordinator for internationalization.
